A space where the client Kevin, and guest speakers share gardening knowledge with thousands of listeners across the nation. The goal for this project was to design a space that reflects Kevin's passion for gardening all while remaining functional for the purposes of his podcast.
In addition to providing a comfortable seating area for podcast guests, the studio must include areas where the client can record basic gardening tasks such as re-potting, trimming, or watering plants for viewer education. The client's aesthetic and lifestyle aligned well with the principles of relaxed living and it also followed the vision for his brand. Pulling from his love of nature, the studio features raw materials such as stone walls and wood accents to communicate simplicity in the truth of materials.

Podcast Desk
In the left image is the main seating arrangement where the client will host podcast guests. In the back left is a wall exclusively dedicated to storage and directly behind the seating arrangement is a kitchenette/work station where basic gardening activities can be performed for educational videos. In the right image is a custom desk featuring an organic form with no edges that will offer a secondary spot for podcast recording. In the back of the desk are rows of shelving to hold vegetables and plants that are suitable to be grown under grow lamps.
