Save the Children is a charity that is dedicated to helping children around the world who are in need of health care, food, shelter, and education. Thousands of children live in areas stricken by poverty, war, or climate change. These are all circumstances that without the proper tools to surpass them will significantly affect and limit their wellbeing. With that said, Save the Children has a mission to educate children and provide them with the tools to have a healthy start in life and thrive in their communities.
Lobby
Designing a space that sparked joy amongst all the seriousness that is dealt with on a day- to- day basis was important for the outlook of the team. It would also be reflective of the positive impact that is made by the foundation. The approach was to design offices that would reflect a contemporary and joyful environment and this was achieved by incorporating an analogous color scheme, warm wood tones, and pattern.
Cafe Kitchen

The kitchen is more than a place where lunch can be heated up, it's a place that encourages community. While most seating arrangements offer the opportunity to catch up with coworkers there are also individual seats for those who need time for themselves. The kitchen is equipped with trash bins, two fridges, microwaves, a sink, a coffee station, and plenty of storage for other supplies. It also provides essentials such as, napkins, utensils, and seasonings.
Office Space
The office space is a large open space in which different work arrangements are found such as cubicles, enclosed glass offices, and rows of desks. Collaboration is a priority for the foundation so there are also different arrangements of meeting and collaboration tables placed throughout the space to encourage efficient communication and a continuous exchange of ideas. All arrangements are intentionally designed and placed with visibility so that they remain approachable to other workers in the office.
